Sunsilk The Task: Create a Brand awareness Campaign for
the Sunsilk ethnic hair care range of products.
The Challenge: 6 weeks to produce. Johannesburg
event only. Must receive national exposure. Must increase sales.
The Brand must come across as fun and energetic.
The Result: Our Concept - to go for the Guinness Book of
Records and wash 4000 heads of hair in 8 hours. We set up a Hair
Salon in the parking lot under Marquee Cover at Southgate Mall.
Linked eTV and the Independent Newspaper group as media partners.
Created an entertainment area with fashion shows, competitions and
prizes, linked to in-store promotions in the Southgate Mall. Sales
increased by 20% over a 6 month period.
